Changes Come
I got word today that a co-worker, one whom I've had the pleasure of working with for at least 4 of the last 7 years at two different organizations announced they were leaving last night. While I'm glad for the different opportunity this brings into their life now, my first reaction was one of melancholy sadness. I didn't spend tons of time with this person, but I did spend time with them outside of work hours and I would call them a friend. Their presence really helped lightened the mood around here. People come and go in business. Yet no one departure has caused this feeling of sadness in me before. They're a wonderful person and I wish them the best. I just wish they were still around here as well. So goes life I guess.

Okay. So only one person has cared enough to leave their two cents. How depressing! Especially considering all the trouble I went through posting this in the first place. Well you can leave a comment if you want. It might cheer me up.
Same deal here, kinda. A very good friend of mine told me the other day that he wants to go to Baton Rouge next semester and attend LSU. I’m glad for him that he’ll be going and doing and stuff, but I’m sad that I won’t have him around as much.
Such is life.
