Better Days

It amazes me how when things look the blackest they've ever been, still they aren't that bad. Things could always be worse. Even in pressed moments, still we all are blessed. Sure we may have to take stock of items typically taken for granted, but still you can be thankful for even them. One thing I truly enjoy doing when things are pressing is just to take a chance to listen to music on a car ride. I don't really care where I'm going, but as long as I'm moving. I can remember moments in my senior year of college when I would drive to a town about 20 minutes from campus and honestly show up questioning why in the world I even came. Once there I'd carry out some small task I had been meaning to do so as to not waste the trip, but these tasks were hardly the reason for the journey in the first place. I can't always do that nowadays. I don't exactly have the afternoons clear to just drive somewhere to clear my head, but the commute home from work typically for me is great unwind time. A chance to just release all the tension and rushing around that's been building all day, begging for a chance to explode on someone over something at sometime. Thankfully much of this remains bottled until I have a chance to find constructive manners in releasing it. So just remember, no matter where your at, things are not as bad as you think and better days are always ahead. Okay. So only one person has cared enough to leave their two cents. How depressing! Especially considering all the trouble I went through posting this in the first place. Well you can leave a comment if you want. It might cheer me up.

  1. That’s pretty encouraging after the day I’ve had so far.
