Arrested Development

Just a note, check out "Arrested Development":http://www.fox.com/arresteddev/ tonight. Reportedly if 15 million viewers check in tonight they'll be giving Carmen Electra one of the 5 Emmy's they recently won. And in case you were wondering, Carmen has never even been nominated for an Emmy. Tonight. Season Premiere. Fox. 8PM EST / 7PM EST. It's arguably one of the top 3 comedies on TV right now behind *The Simpsons* and *Family Guy*. UPDATE: Saw the kick-off. Hilarious. Should be a great season.

Finally! 8 loving people have cared enough to share their thoughts with me. Why don't you join the party?

  1. I thought Arrested Development was pretty good tonight - thought I haven’t made it much of a point to watch before.

Still, Family Guy and The Simpsons were MUCH better, IMHO.

  2. Arrested Development definitely carries the stories from the last two seasons over with it. While they do recap throughout the show so no one is lost; still that just makes it funnier.

Like at the Son & Father Reunion thing, the statue that just had a boy holding a hand - hilarious. The show goes way too quickly.

  5. I enjoy Arrested Development, but I’ve only seen it twice, so I’ll have to rent the DVD’s or something. The episodes I did watch were pretty funny though.

Family Guy is a great end to my weekend, and I don’t know if anyone here watches the Office, but it starts tonight and that excites me.

  6. ah but have you seen the original “the Office”...the BBC version is actually for once, way funnier than it’s American counterpart. I was lucky enough to be introduced to it by Dorothy Blake Subsequently, Seth and I acquired both seasons which we watched almost daily...hilarious...also, I would beat almost anyone at Family Guy trivia, a fact I am proud of dammit..

  7. Yeah the original Office is great as well. I posted on this a while back. One of the main reasons the BBC is a little better is the fact that there is 7 more minutes than the American version. They get to extend the awkwardness a bit more. I’m a huge fan of both, and as long as you see the two as being seperate I think you can enjoy them both equally. Here’s hoping the new season will be great and it won’t end after 12 episodes and a movie like the BBC version.

  8. If you liked The Office, you’ll love Ricky Gervais’s new show Extras. It’s even funnier.
