Are you ready for the weekend?
Let me make one thing clear: *I am.* I'm sure you are too, but for other (less important) reasons. You see, this weekend my wife and I are moving into a new apartment. Ahh yes, can you smell that? I can; it's the smell of blood, sweat and tears all wrapped up in just a few short days. What makes our situation even more complex than the traditional move? We are moving from a _HUGE_ 3 bedroom "house" (okay, it's a double-wide trailer that's not a trailer park and it's actually quite nice...wanna fight about it?), into a small (NYC style) one bedroom apartment. I know right now you're starting to get scared that Brad has lost his mind or that one of them lost their job so they have to significantly downsize. No, that's not it. We're just ready for a change of pace and, when you have a three bedroom house, you fill it to the brim - including things you probably would never end up keeping. And we have found ourselves in that prediciment. But now we're cutting loose and getting rid of a lot of things that we just plain don't need. That's right - we're giving away/getting rid of a ton of stuff. And it feels damn good. Pray this weekend that all goes well, no one loses a finger and that we've downsized enough to make this historic move. (Oh, and now's the time to share your horrible moving stories....type on, my friends...)
