Andrew Keen on Google, Blogging, Twitter, and Web 2.0

This is a very interesting hour-long discussion that if you have the time to listen to might be of great interest to some people. I played it at work this morning in the background and I found the discussion quite engaging, forcing me to stop for a moment to fully consider his points. The idea, the premise that the increase of a "democratic information culture" that allows one to act anonymously on the internet has _not_ helped further our culture; but rather without a gatekeeper to check information we end up with anarchy and a cultural light of ourselves with what we do in the dark when no one is watching. It's a very interesting discussion. (via)
