America’s Growing Waistline
CNN recently published "an interactive map illustrating the growing waistline in America":http://www.cnn.com/SPECIALS/2007/fit.nation/obesity.map/, showing why obesity is a leading health concern in America today. I find the nation's obesity issues ironic when you consider that we are more and more infatuated with diets, fitness and "healthy" foods more than ever before in our history -- and yet live completely unhealthy lives as a whole. Below is the interactive map from CNN. You can "visit their website":http://www.cnn.com/SPECIALS/2007/fit.nation/ for more information.This entry was posted on Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at 7:37pm. Finally! 2 loving people have cared enough to share their thoughts with me. Why don't you join the party?
Oddly enough, it appears that America’s weight/obesity patterns seem to fall in line with their voting patterns as well (;
And I love how in 2001, Mississippi was the only state above 25% (That’s where my parents live...that’s all)
