A Remaining Thought

This weekend was short, long, and just right -- all in the right dosage, leaving me looking forward to the next one. It was a great chance to catch up with some friends, build closer relationships with others, and enjoy being with my wife. Between the drywalling, dinners, and Sunday services; I found myself content in the fact that I'm completely at rest in my Lord. I guess you could wrap up what I've been learning in this statement: _"The presence of trouble does not imply the absence of God; and the presence of God does not imply the absence of God."_ Other notables: "Joshua Sowin":http://www.fireandknowledge.org has a great article published over at "Circle Six Magazine":http://www.circlesixmagazine.com that everyone should chew over, entitled "Surrounded By Loneliness.":http://www.circlesixmagazine.com/faith/surrounded_by_loneliness.html Also *Circle Six* releases an interview with "Train":http://www.circlesixmagazine.com/entertainment/you_youre_good_you_a_conversation_with_train.html. Much of my weekend nights have been occupied playing "this game":http://nanaca.narr.as/ that sucks all your time and spits it out. Stupid bike-hit-boost man.

Okay. So only one person has cared enough to leave their two cents. How depressing! Especially considering all the trouble I went through posting this in the first place. Well you can leave a comment if you want. It might cheer me up.

  1. Still playing that crazy Japanese game?  I gave up after like 5 tries.  I’ll leave it to Tom and Kent to battle out who can beat 8200m.

Thanks again for the help with drywall on Saturday.  Unfortunately I have some other water issues to fix up now, but I’m sure that can be remedied with some of that Drylok stuff that has been suggested to me.
