A Friend, Iraq, & One Of The Best War Blogs
I had thought of simply linking to this post, but there's enough of a backstory needed here to warrant a posting. Basically, this is a solid friend who I wish I would have stayed in further contact with then I have. He's currently a sergeant stationed in Iraq, working as a news liason for the Army, and has one of the best blogging reads about life in the Army in Iraq. And today is another example of pure writing and sarcastic gold: bq. "Now, with little to do other than organize stacks of paper and check email, Salmons professional development is at an all time low, clouding forecasts of future promotion or achievement."How all of this will play out as the deployment continues is still unclear, but if trends continue, the meager forces of Salmons may see themselves locked in a desperate battle against the much stronger CO war-machine to support the cause for which they were brought to war to achieve." Priceless. "Here's the rest.":http://salemonz.blogspot.com/2005/11/talks-cease-as-skirmishes-continue.html

Okay. So only one person has cared enough to leave their two cents. How depressing! Especially considering all the trouble I went through posting this in the first place. Well you can leave a comment if you want. It might cheer me up.
Yeah, Josh has an amazing blog. I’m very glad he can post while he’s over there.
