17. Ryan Adams

Ryan Adams & The Cardinals
Jacksonville City Nights

This album ended up in my top 20 for one reason, and one reason alone - it’s a great live recording and I’m a huge sucker for live recordings. In this disc Adams is able to capture the essence of his songs so well. There’s a great country rock vibe throughout the album, something somewhat akin to a My Morning Jacket live release.

Okay. So only one person has cared enough to leave their two cents. How depressing! Especially considering all the trouble I went through posting this in the first place. Well you can leave a comment if you want. It might cheer me up.

  1. do you think this album (aside from being live) is better than Cold Roses?
